Performance of Top 5 Air Travel Apps in Norway in Q4 2022

During the fourth quarter of 2022, the top 5 air travel apps in Norway showcased varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides valuable insights into the app market.

Norwegian Travel Assistant witnessed a decline in weekly downloads, starting at around 5.9K in early October and gradually decreasing to about 2.9K by the end of December. Weekly active users also saw a downward trend, from approximately 13.6K to 9.7K over the same period.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines experienced a similar pattern. Weekly downloads began at around 3.9K and fell to approximately 2.1K by the end of December. Active users started at about 7.9K in late September, declining to 6K by the end of the year.

Flyr saw a significant drop in weekly downloads from 6.3K at the beginning of October to just under 1K in early December. However, there was a slight increase towards the end of December, reaching about 1.5K.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed a more stable performance. Weekly revenue fluctuated but remained substantial, peaking at approximately $8.7K in late September and stabilizing around $6K towards the end of December. Downloads ranged from around 2.1K to 2.6K, with active users peaking at about 19.2K in mid-December before settling around 17.7K by the end of the month.

Ryanair maintained relatively steady performance metrics. Weekly downloads hovered around 1.5K at the start of October and slightly decreased to about 936 by the end of December. Active users remained consistent, starting at approximately 6.5K and ending the quarter at around 5.9K.
